Illegal Drugs in Shenzhen - Police Stats
- In a publicity drive to coincide with the June 2006 International Anti-Drug Day, Shenzhen police announced the destruction of 312kg “of drugs”.
- From June ‘05 to June ‘06 2,491 drug dealers had been apprehended in Shenzhen
- In the past year’s 2,324 incidents, 2,226kg of illegal drugs had been seized
- 11,317 people in the past year were put into rehab
Apart from all that, Shenzhen is a drug-free zone…. like the 600 or so districts out of 2,863 districts in China which reported having zero drug crime…
